Atlanta Grand Pianos has been teaching individuals to play piano for over 35 years!
Bill Davidow owner of Atlanta Grand Pianos is a prominent Atlanta
Jazz pianist and composer.
Availability for private lessons is limited but he is currently
taking on new students with a sincere desire to
learn to play the piano. Lessons are given at his piano studio
on his grand piano at his home in Roswell, Georgia which
is a suburb of North Atlanta. If you live in or around the
Atlanta area or even if you are from out of town
you may want to consider giving Bill at a call at 770-594-8000
to discuss signing up for lessons.
His method of instruction is very unique
in that it focuses on getting you up and playing songs in just a few
lessons!
With the incorporation of special techniques involving the learning
and implementation of chords it is
possible to have the student that has never touched a piano playing
songs more quickly
and easily than conventional methods of teaching with minimal effort.
From this point on if the student applies him-/herself, Bill can
continue to develop the beginner's skill to
a professional level of piano playing. Bill also takes intermediate
and professional students and can advance their level of skill
as far as a person wishes to develop it. He has played in
many Atlanta Jazz Festivals and major
Atlanta concert halls. He teaches popular, jazz, and classical
techniques.
The main focus is on popular and jazz instruction with classical
technique.
Lessons are one hour long. Most adults take one lesson every
other week because he knows adults have a heavy schedule.
He gives lessons to ages 13 and older. Generally it is good for
the student to have an interest in jazz music.

The Altanta Suburban Knights Jazz Trio was rated one of the best of Atlanta's
Jazz scene and asked to
