Did you know that the greatest concert pianists of the
 late 20th century often performed on and owned rebuilt grand pianos?

Arthur Rubenstein, Van Cliburn, or Vladimir Horowitz
wouldn't be caught dead performing on an Asian import!

We know you may not be a concert pianist but you do want the
best quality for your money invested.  Consider this...

Early  20th century pianos were built by craftsmen
of the highest integrity, who hand picked aged hardwoods
and hand crafted their instruments to unsurpassed
quality!!  Even new hand built pianos today won't
compare to those made between 1900 and 1940.
This is the same reason that old Stradivarius violins and vintage guitars
are so sought after by discerning musicians.

Many of the new Asian grand pianos boast prestigious
American and German names on their fronts from
grand piano companies that no longer exist.
They hope you'll be "fooled" and think you're buying a quality hand made
baby grand piano and not a mass produced low end product.

TO SUM IT UP, why buy a new or used Asian
massed produced piano, when for the same price
you could own a completely restored to perfection
hand built American baby grand or grand piano?

We at Atlanta Grand Pianos have rebuilt more than 1,000
antique baby grand pianos and grand pianos,
and spare no expense or time in our rebuilding process.
We choose the highest quality materials available to date.

Atlanta Grand Pianos will not sell an old grand with old
strings and pins as these pianos won't hold tune anymore and must
be rebuilt every 30-40 years or so in order to be used and serviced.
Rebuilding should be performed by experienced rebuilders,
as special adjustments are critical to the final tone
and performance of the instrument.
Rebuilding is not inexpensive because it takes sometimes
as long as three months to correctly complete the process.
Be cautious of the rebuilder who sells his work
cheap as they probably do cheap work and
skip the proper procedures to insure
a quality finished product.
